Since 9 March 2004, we have registered with the US Public Companies Accounting Oversight Board, (PCAOB), which was created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 to oversee audits of public companies listed with the SEC, in order to protect the interests of investors. Horwath Belize is the only firm in Belize that has registered with the PCAOB.
